just you, me and nature.

hello, i need to take a break from writing reports as of now. my vision is blurred now from staring too much at the laptop screen, i need some greenery. you know! they chopped off all the trees near the railway track, where my bus stop is. and i hate them! ): it's like deforestation on a smaller scale, but it's just infuriating to see the trees all gone, like the air feels more polluted and the weather's hotter and there's no shade, and the land feels so barren, and my point is, the trees are gone. DAMN YOU PEOPLE WHO CHOPPED THEM OFF. my area is so not going to be a peaceful and lovely place to live anymore. ): and the earth is already dying, you know. i don't know why i'm so agitated, but it just kind of makes you feel a little sad that no one actually cares. (What about sunrise? What about rain?)

Hey, what about yesterday
What about the seas
The heavens are falling down
I can't even breathe
What about the bleeding Earth
Can't we feel its wounds
What about nature's worth
It's our planet's womb
What about animals
We've turned kingdoms to dust
What about elephants
Have we lost their trust
What about crying whales
We're ravaging the seas
What about forest trails
Burnt despite our pleas
What about the holy land
Torn apart by greed
What about the common man
Can't we set him free
What about children dying
Can't you hear them cry
Where did we go wrong
Someone tell me why
What about babies
What about the days
What about all their joy
What about the man
What about the crying man
What about Abraham
What about death again
Do we give a damn?
-- earth song by michael jackson

and so, we managed to catch THIS IS IT. (: and i must say, it's really awesome because his songs and dance are so classic. if you, like me, never understood why he's so much a legend, you should seriously go watch this movie because you'll understand then. after the movie, i just felt like i had to watch it again and again, because it was so entertaining, and he's so cool, like RESPECT YO! i can't believe he's dead, even though i'm not a crazy fan of his, but i'd definitely love to be able to watch his concert live. ALL I WANNA SAY IS THAT, THEY DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT US! (: (: stuck in my head deep deep.

and so, yes. we had jap mock test one. you cannot believe how hilarious it was during listening, because i practically copied eighty percent of the answers from siewjing/steph (not like they were correct anyway hahaha), and the worst part is turning each side and knowing both their answers are different and you're caught in this dilemma because you're absolutely clueless. haha i think i need to really start revising, or else i'm going to end up without a certificate! ):

life is so in need of a good break, a lazy weekend full of nothing. but no, life doesn't allow that for kids like us. sometimes i wished i belong to the ancient times when everything was primitive and there was no such thing as books, or laptops, or Internet, not even pen and paper, nothing. just you, me and nature.
